Jana Zielinski is the director of the Designblok Prague International Festival of Contemporary Design, the biggest design festival in Central Europe, founded in 1999. In 2018 Jana Zielinski was awarded the title of Doctor honoris causa by the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague for her lifetime contribution to Czech design. She regularly ranks among the 120 most important women in the Czech Republic according to Forbes magazine.
